DIY Valentines Ribbon Wreath

I have really bad anxiety and one of my favourite ways to calm down is repetitive crafting like wreath making. For wreaths like this one, all I have to focus on is tie, tie, tie, and it takes my mind off whatever triggered me. I love easy crafts because you feel so accomplished when its done but it doesn't take up too much of your time (As a mom of two I don't have a lot of that lol)

Heres a step by step on how to make a super easy, super cute ribbon heart wreath for valentines day!

What you'll need:

♡ Heart wreath form

♡ 5-10 different types of ribbon (I used a mixture of thick and thin)

♡ Glue (you can use tacky glue or a hot glue gun, I actually didn't need to glue mine)

♡ Pateince! lol It's repetitive and might feel tedious halfway through but trust me the end result is worth it!

Take your ribbons and cut them into 3-4 inch strips, long enough to tie them into a knot

Then take each piece and tie it around the wreath, making sure not to let any wire show in between

Then keep tying until you have ribbon going all the way around, making sure to alternate between different patters, big and small, etc.

It should look like this at the front

Now trim off the excess

It's optional to add a bow at the bottom or the top! The bottom of mine was looking a little rough so that's where I put my bow!

The ribbon to hang it is optional too, you can always buy a wreath hook and glue it on as well!

There you have it! Super easy, super fun and super cute!
